    Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Tournaments

Atlantic Highly Migratory Species (HMS) tournaments are fishing events that award points or prizes for the catch & release or landing of sharks, tunas, billfishes, or swordfish in the U.S. Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, or Caribbean Sea.
Tournament operators must register with NOAA Fisheries, keep records of anglers and results, and if selected send a summary of fishing results within seven days after the event.
